Mr. Percy Monk, the second generation ginseng grower and  the Monk Family history was featured by the Award Winning TV documentary series' Ginseng" and shown at prime time to 100 million audience  on July 1 to July 4, 2015 via China's Discovery Channel-CCTV 9. In this this series, the stories of how ginseng became the family religion in their blood was recounted. The personal success stories of the Colonel David Monk as state wrestling champions during high school and completion of his education and military training at West Point were retold. The TV series covered the lives of ginseng farmers and traditions in three countries, China, US and Korea.
